Peter Rose
Peter Rose is a senior communications consultant with many years of corporate and agency experience. He believes in blending meticulous planning with creativity to create news hooks that cut through the clutter and draw the attention of media. He has spent his career serving the media needs of major corporations, financial institutions and industry associations by creating and implementing highly successful media and advocacy campaigns.
Peter served as Director of Public Relations for Goodyear Canada where he helped launch Indy racing in Toronto, introduced Canadian media and race fans to the Goodyear airships and managed one of the largest public relations special events in Canada's history; a plant ground breaking ceremony attended by national media and more than 25,000 spectators.
As a media consultant, he has served a diverse range of clients including: RoyNat Inc., a subsidiary of the Bank of Nova Scotia, FedEx in Canada; Goodyear Canada; Rockwell Automation, Imperial Oil, ICI Chemicals, Allen Bradley Automation, The Ontario Federation of Agriculture, The Beef Information Centre, Fountain Tire, Ontario Power Generation, the Tire and Rubber Assocation of Canada, Imagine Canada and Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Awards include: a CPRS Award of Excellence (1983) for outstanding work in internal communications and an IABC Gold Quill (1990) for executive speech writing, the Mona MacGregor Award (1997) for outstanding contributions to mathematics education by a non-educator and a second IABC Gold Quill (2011) for media writing.
