In August, Mohawk College and McMaster University welcomed a GE HealthCare MRI machine for research, education, and patient care with the opening of the Centre for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging (CIAMI).
CIAMI provides a space where education, clinical care, and research intersect through collaborative and unique models of care and approaches to training that have not been done before in Ontario.
Xposure PR assisted with media relations support to amplify the announcement. Excellent coverage was earned from local Hamilton media including CHCH and the Hamilton Spectator.
In today’s communications environment, it’s critical to use the right language to convey not only meaning but organizational intent. From considerations around inclusion, diversity and belonging, to correcting historical inaccuracies and problematic metaphors, Xposure PR helps organizations and their teams evolve their communications to accurately reflect their values.
To support their team’s use of inclusive language in the workplace and with clients, Xposure PR developed a company-specific Language and Style Guide for WP Pensions + Benefits. Serving Indigenous communities and workplaces, the WP team is committed to reconciliation in both words and actions. Their guide reflects their values and intentions, helping create communications materials and sustain environments that are respectful and inclusive, honouring and welcoming unique lived experiences and perspectives.
One of the most challenging aspects of corporate communication is crisis management. Xposure PR has deep experience in helping organizations and individuals navigate through crisis situations.
While it is best to have a crisis communication strategy in place before one takes place, quick action is always important. The first step in any crisis is to assemble and connect your crisis team. This usually includes the CEO, legal, HR, IT and, of course, communications.
In many cases our Xposure PR team is brought in if an organization is not large enough to have its own communications or media relations staff. We help develop crisis communication strategies, tactics, and messaging to ensure the right information is shared with the right people and your team has the confidence to manage it.
